John is an ordained Christian minister (with Faith Community Churches International), is the founder and President of the Reformation Study Center and serves as the pastor of King's Church in Phoenix, Arizona.
Having now been in Christian ministry for more than two decades, John has pastored churches both in the United Kingdom and in the USA. For many years John hosted a daily Bible teaching radio broadcast, "the Spirit of Faith," covering central Arizona on KPXQ 1360 AM. He is also the author of numerous theological articles which have had a wide distribution.
Known for his gifted Bible teaching ministry, John inspires people with a message of victory and faith, challenging God's people to live in all the good that Christ accomplished on the Cross. He believes that the biggest need of the Church in our day is an accurate understanding of God as He really is, and the Gospel as it really is, and that it is impossible to have one without the other.
He has traveled internationally, seeing many people receive salvation, healing and encouragement from the Lord. Testimonies have included miracle healings such as blindness, deafness, tumors, paralysis, kidney failure, cancer, a little boy raised from death, and a 7 year old girl, deaf and mute since birth, as well as a 72 year old lady, who for sixty years (since age 12) had a lame foot after a horse riding accident, totally healed by God's power. All glory to God!
John was born and raised in Chester, England, and desired to become a professional football player (football is known as "soccer" in the USA), being chosen for the Chester Under 19 side while still only 16 years of age. However, the Lord had a different and more exciting path for John, calling him into the ministry!
Graduating from the Elim Bible College (now re-named Regents Theological College) in 1987, John began his ministry as the Associate Minister of the late Harry Greenwood.
John has an obvious passion to proclaim the truth of God's word without compromise, yet does so in a down to earth style, often blended with humor. He teaches in Churches, Conferences and Bible College settings on a variety of subjects such as Knowing God, Understanding the Gospel, God's Amazing Grace, Faith, Renewing the Mind, Walking in God's Love, Prayer, Divine Healing (physical and emotional), the Holy Spirit, Systematic Theology, hermeneutics (the science of Biblical interpretation), Preaching and the history and doctrines of the Protestant Reformation.
